OCS 2007 MP

[Reduce Auto-Resolve Alerts Setting]

Hello,
I am wondering if the OCS2007 MP is compatible with the following
configuration. After the SCOM server was upgraded to W2K8, I tried
uninstalling/reinstalling the OCS2007 MP, and it appeared to install, but now
I cannot see the MP under the monitoring pane:

OCS Server configuration:
OCS2007, Enterprise
W2K3, Enterprise, SP2 (build 5.2.3790)

SCOM Server:
Windows 2008, Enterprise, SP1
SCOM 2007, SP1, build 6.0.6278.0

The OCS2007 MP doc says the System Requirements are

• Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003; Windows Server 2003,
Datacenter Edition (32-bit x86); Windows Server 2003, Datacenter x64 Edition

• Other Software: System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Does this apply to the SCOM server or the OCS server?

Applies to the OCS servers. The MP should appear, sometimes you can make
this occur faster by bouncing the health service on the RMS. I only
recommend doing that in a lab, not produciton.
