ESE Log Bytes Write/sec Monitor problems?

I frequently receive warning alerts for the monitor "ESE Log Bytes
Write/sec - Yellow(>5 MB per second sustained for 15 minutes) -
Mailbox", however, the value is only "612071.3159505208" which is in
bytes and of course does not equal 5MB. Has anyone else seen this???

It looks like the latest versions of the Exchange 2007 MP does have this
threshold incorrectly set.

You can override the Monitor to set the threshold differently "ESE Log Bytes
Write/sec - Yellow(>5 MB per second sustained for 15 minutes) - Mailbox" for
the scope of "Ex. Mailbox". Set the threshold as 5,120,000, instead of its'
current value of 512,000.

Alright so 5MB is the correct threshold? I can't find any information that
supports that outside of the technet article that discusses this particular
monitor.

Try http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201689.aspx it lists the
performance counters for Mailbox Role and discusses the values that are
considered bad states.
The thresholds in the MP may differ from these, like the article states 10
MB which is the Red warning level in the MP.
