MAPI Connectivity Transaction Failures

Is there any way to change the behavior (or create a new one) of the MAPI
Connectivity Transaction
Failures monitor in the Exchange Management pack so that it only alerts on
consecutive failures and not just on 1 single failure?

This one almost always clears itself by the time we can check out the error,
yet we would like a notification if it fails 2 consecutive checks as this may
be indicative of a real problem.

Hello SCOM_Gabe,

I think the new exchange 2007 MP for R2 has a lot of wizards for this. See
if you can override the monitor to change the value.

Please post future questions in the new web based forum for ops mgr, Microsoft
has recently launched a new space at Microsoft Technet Forums for Operations
Manager. You will find it at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/category/systemcenteroperationsmanager
. The product team, the MVPs and a lot of people are already there! See you
there
