Our Exchange 2007 servers have one particular disk that we don't want to
monitor. With the monitor from the Windows Management Pack it is possible to
exclude this disk from monitoring. How can we do the same trick for the Disk
% Free Space Low monitor from the Exchange 2007 Management Pack?

We are running OpsMgr 2007 with SP1 and the latest Exchange 2007 MP.

Never mind, I found the answer myself:

The new disk monitoring rules support alert suppression. It is also possible
to use the Server Operating System Management Pack to monitor Exchange disk
space, if desired. In that case, the above rules can be disabled.

According the MP guide.

Still wondering why these counters are still in Exchange? I assume every
OpsMgr installation start with the Windows MP...

It's for the scenario where a customer is only using the EXchange MP, or the
Exchange admins want to see disk alerts in the context of the Exchange
servers. True, there is also overlap. We're looking at ways to make this
configuration easier in future versions.
