Hi Guys,

I see audit reports for Active directory groups etc. However we have had a
request to find out how many times a distribution group has been e-mailed.
So we can see whether the internal e-mail address is being used.

Anything Opsmgr can do? Or the exchange management pack for 2003?

Many thanks

Kevin

Exchange really doesn't expose a method to tell whether a distribution list
is sent to or not. The only method to tell if a distribution list was sent
to would be to parse the Message tracking logs on all your servers and see
if the DL was sent to. The Exchange 2003 Management Pack doesn't have a
method that would tell you this sort of information built in. You could try
using the EMPMT.MTALogAnalyzer, which is a com object on the Exchange 2003
servers that parses Message Tracking logs. I'm not sure if this could do
what you would want but it would be something to investigate.
